Scarlett Begonia strives to have interesting, thoughtful food. Their menus change weekly with an innovative fresh look at breakfast and lunch and dinner. They provide Santa Barbara with a restaurant that showcases progressive modern food, using sustainable, organic, high quality ingredients coupled with innovative cooking to be one of the most foodcentric restaurants around. Some of our favorite brunch items include their magnificent house made granola pictured above and left, their lemon ricotta pancakes, and their kale Caesar salad with a poached egg on top.


LUCKY’S

If you feel like avoiding the stress that comes with hosting brunch altogether, head to Lucky’s in Montecito for a home away from home vibe. They are dedicated to their customers’ enjoyment, relaxation, and happiness while holding a comfortable setting that’s right for brunch, and a warm welcome for old friends and new acquaintances. Their menu is extremely versatile and appeals to all tastes from French onion soup, corned beef hash and poached eggs (pictured right), to a waffle platter and a sliced steak salad. C'est cheese has a simple yet amazing menu that caters to all tastes and dietary restrictions. They open early for breakfast, which makes it easy for those early risers who want to meet their friends for a light breakfast before a morning hike up Inspiration Point. They also have a wide variety of teas, coffees, and juices, and of course mimosas are on the menu! 871 Oak Grove offers incredible mountain views, a charming patio, and a bubbling, natural stone water element. The north patio provides a serene mountain view and overlooks the gardens, designed by the renowned San Ysidro Ranch landscape architect Laurie Lewis.
